10K run and 1K fun run

Glass Bead Productions and the Town of Enfield present the first annual Enfield Peanut Gallery 10K run and 1K fun run. Our run will start in the historic downtown of Enfield NC and run through some of our neighborhoods and then out by farm land and back into town. Come discover our beautiful little town and experience the Enfield Peanut Festival after the race.

After the run we will award prizes to 1st 2nd and 3rd place finishers in various categories and have refreshments served to all runners courtesy of Halifax Tourism.

Feel free to run as you are or if you have a favorite costume or outfit get as crazy as you want. We will have a prize for most unique and interesting runner

Enfield Peanut Festival
This is our annual town festival that celebrates the rich history of peanut farming In this area. This year the festivities for the festival will begin around 12 noon and continue onto 9pm at night. Danny Woods of The Board of Directors will be our featured entertainer (starting at 7pm). Please print out the attached entry form and mail before September 15 to get the $25 entry fee. Otherwise, the entry fee increases to $35)

We kept the FUN RUN fee at a mere $5 just to keep control on the # of participants so it doesn’t become a free for all.

Come on out, have a great run and a fun fun time. All funds will go to the Enfield downtown beautification committee who are working on a storefront mural program to transform abandon stores into vibrant colorful activity scenes. We know we have a beautiful town that like many has suffered great decline over the years and we want to reawaken our town for the world to discover its charm and beauty as we did.
